Immersed for years in a renovating and stimulating urban transformation process, we have had the opportunity to intervene in the Patacona Beach —Alboraya, Valencia— with the Rice Club restaurant space, located on the first floor of the Brassa de Mar restaurant. The essential meaning of the project comes with the idea of empathizing with the gastronomic purpose of its owners: “there is no modernity without a good tradition”. The objective of all parties is to provoke a transition from the restaurant to a much more rational and simple project, as naked as the material itself or the main ingredient of its recipe book, which is rice.
